wrap-tiesBefore I get into how to tie the Wrap Belt  – let’s talk about where you should place it for your body type.

Wearing your belt on your true waist (as opposed to the top of your pants) will create a feminine hourglass silhouette. A low-slung belt over jeans or a dress can be cool and casual.

The rule of thumb is to place the belt on the smallest part of your body – it can be high on the empire waist, natural waist line or low on the hips.  Watch this video for detail.

Now… for how to tie the Wrap Belt.

Tie #1:  Double Knot

The easiest way to tie the Wrap Belt is in a Double Knot.  Basically you tie it like your shoe.

Place the widest part of the belt in the front (making sure the smily face is looking out). You want the curved dip to be on top.

Criss-cross the ties in the back and bring them to the front.

Then simply tie twice.

Tie #2:  Ocho Knot

Try the Ocho Knot to add more texture to your outfit.

Place the widest part of the belt in the front (making sure the smily face is looking out). You want the curved dip to be on top.

Criss-cross the ties in the back and bring them to the front.

Cross the two ends in the front and bring each tie to the opposite end creating a figure 8.

Take the loose ends and bring them to the back and either tie them or loop them around the back part of the tie to secure in place.  You may have to loop it around a few times to make sure it stays.3-ways-3-2

Tie #3:  Rosette

This is one of the “show stopping” ties that everyone thinks is a lot harder to do than it is.

Place the widest part of the belt in the front (making sure the smily face is looking out). You want the curved dip to be on top.

Criss-cross the ties in the back and bring them to the front.

Take one of the ties and start wrapping it around the other tie.

Now coil the wrapped section around into a bun and tuck in the end.  As if you’re wrapping a bun with your hair.

The Wrap Belt is made with a genuine Argentinean leather so it’s soft and comfortable to wear.  It’s been contoured so it creates a flattering fit.

A Wrap Belt can can go over nearly everything.  Cinch a bulky sweater, a slouchy tee, or a billowing blouse. Even try it over your coat for a more tailored look.
