It’s the start of a new year and you told yourself that this year will be different. You’ve made a list of goals and resolutions and one of them is to step up your game in the office (work). You’re going to get that promotion, reach your monthly goals and…dress for success.
Okay, great, you think. Let’s do it.
But does that mean you have to sacrifice one hour of sleep to try on outfits only to find yourself creating a pile of “no go’s” I mean a PILE that will stay there for the rest of the week… and still having NOTHING to wear and go back to your old slacks and sweater?
Ughh… sounds awful!
I totally get it! Cause the recurring question of what to wear to work? is pertinent for many of us women.
However, I have some good news for you.
Our creative fashion minds went to work and we pulled together five outfit ideas and tips you can start implementing this week and this year!
And I promise… it’s not as bad as you think.
Are you ready to get started? Let’s take some notes.
1. It’s all in the detail.
Perhaps your job calls for slacks and blouse or a more classic look. But we have one important tip: Always wear a unique statement piece, whether it be a belt, of course we say ADA belt, or a pair of heels or bag. It’s all in the detail and it will take your outfit from boring to… wow, that girl got style!

2. Shape up.
Unless tailored to your curves a blouse and blazer combo can sometimes look too structured. Maybe even too “corporate”. How about trying something out of the ordinary and throwing on a belt at the waistline. It will gives this outfit a professional but feminine look.

3. Casual Business.
Maybe your job doesn’t require you to get too dressed up or you’re trying to figure out a cute “casual Friday” outfit. We suggest to always add a blazer to your jean look along with a pair of statement shoes. And don’t forget a belt with your jeans… people are looking at the details you won’t want to wear bare loop holes.

4. GLAMOROUS at the office.
Polar opposite of biz casual is this fab glam look for all those sexy women who rule the world. She wears high heels, a bold lipstick and outfits that make a statement to show she means business. The TIP here is to always wear posh fabulous heels, rich fabrics, statement jewelry, waist showing off belts, and power woman bags or clutches. But girl, you have to walk with confidence and watch that posture! Think Devil Wears Prada style…

5. CARELESS CHIC
Carelles Chic is a look for those who’ve got slightly more penchant for fashion but look like they don’t care, yet, to the trained eye they’re street-style-worthy. The TIP is to: clash different style items, play with shapes (slouchy versus fitted), with looks (feminine and masculine). Heels look best with this style, but oxfords do the trick as well.
